Shikanosuke Sakuraba (桜葉 鹿之助 Sakuraba Shikanosuke) is a boy from Ryuhoku High who is in Cheering Squad of the Basketball team in Chapter 25.

Shikanosuke came on the second day of the training camp so that he can confess to Himiko. He likes Himeno and wants her to go out with him.
Etymology[]
- The name Shikanosuke means "deer, venison" (鹿) (shika), "this" (之) (no) and "help, rescue, assist/assistant/assistance" (助) (suke).
- Shikanosuke's surname Sakuraba means "cherry blossom" (桜) (sakura) and "leaf, plane, lobe, needle, blade, spear, counter for flat things, fragment, piece" (葉) (ha/ba).
